For some reason, ice cream works for me!
I only know of milk. I would suggest seeing your primary care provider and getting a ref to a Gastroenterologist. You may have a serious problem that will not solve itself.
eat dry bread to soak up acid
Bicarbonate of soda, in small quantities. No drink 2 hours before going to bed. Extra pillow to raise your head.
If it’s once in a great while, milk can help, the bread is a good idea. But if it’s all the time, you may need to be on a daily med. The older we get, the more likely we are to have this problem more often. Consider a daily program that keeps it at bay, and avoid stuff that causes it. Avoiding it starting is the best natural cure. For me that is hot stuff, peanutbutter, rice…lots of things.
Evidently you have gastritis with gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
If gastritis symptoms continue, antacids are sometimes recommended, while Histamine (H2) blockers have received a lot of attention for stomach problems to prevent the acid formation.
If for natural remedy you meant acidity relief home remedies :
Take one piece of Clove and suck on it slowly. This will give you relief from acidity and also help in reducing the onslaught of diseases arising out of acidity.
Eat a cup of vanilla ice cream or drink a glass of cold milk to get heartburn and acidity relief within minutes
Heartburn relief home remedies
Almonds- can relieve hearburn. Eat several almonds when heartburn symptoms persist.
Lemons- can prevent hearburn. Cut a lemon into thin strips and dip in salt. Eat before meals to prevent heartburn.
Lemon rind can also be eaten to prevent heartburn.
OKAY??
if you don’t mind taking medication, go for pantoprazole 20 mg once daily before or after meals
Avoid things that cause it such as spicy foods, chocolate and caffine
sometimes milk
