What are some things to do to prepare for a healthy pregnancy?

I have a week left of my birth control pills and have decided its time to go off them. My fiance and I are just going to “see what happens”. If I get pregnant, then good. What are some things I can do to prepare my body for a healthy pregnancy? I am a bit underweight too and havent been able to gain weight for about 6 months, I keep losing. Is that a problem? I know I should take Folic Acid. How much? Thank you and good luck to you all!

My friend was trying to get pregnant for about a year and she just took prenatal vitamins, as per her doctor’s recommendation. I might also talk to a dietitian and start working out, if you start before you get pregnant it will be easy to keep it up when you are pregnant.

Pre natal vitamins are most important. Ask your doctor for them, some pharmacy’s give them for free. If you can’t go to doctor then get the over the counter brand. SOOOOO IMPORTANT.
1. Folic Acid- follow the instructions
2. You can start taking prenatal pills
3. Cut off ALL caffeine intake
4. Excercise
5. Drink lots of fluids
6. Drink Green Tea
my sister got pregnant when she was 15 she had him when she was 16 ur body is fine so if u get pregnant MAKE SURE u have fiance that will stick by ur side throw every thing good or bad and make sure u have enough money to take care of the baby i hope this can help u
